This book seemed a little outrageous in parts, but on the whole, it was very good. If you like love stories that are Christ-centered, you will love this one. I can’t wait to start the next book!
I've enjoyed Leah Atwood's writing before, and this book was no exception.
A light, easy read, with just the right amount of romance.
Also contains the truth that God is indeed interested in every aspect of our lives, and is willing to lead us, if only we will obey Him.
Highly recommended.
My only complaint is that the book was too short. I fell in love with the characters from the first word right to the last. A great read. She's an awesome author.
What I liked most about this book was that the author did not rush the story, everything came across very smoothly . I really liked the thoughtfulness of each of the characters. It was an added bonus to read the guy’s thoughts; usually you only get the girl’s thoughts in a book like this. I aim to read more of Leah’s books in the future. Thank you, Leah, for a good book!!

Table for One by Leah Atwood is a great read for those who love uplifting, romantic reads with an inspirational thread. The story revolves around Trevor, who has broken up with his girlfriend (who he was in a serious relationship with) and Lauren, who is in a bit of a romantic funk due to her single status. Both Trevor and Lauren are in the perfect place to find love, although neither one knows it when they meet. This is a wonderful, inspirational romance that will make you smile and root for Trevor and Lauren.
As research for her blog, Lauren Allred decides to go to a restaurant, find a man dining alone, and ask to join him. That man turns out to be Trevor Stockton, who has just broken up with the woman he thought he would marry. He even had the ring in his pocket. Although Trevor is as drawn to Lauren as she seems to be to him, this is not the time to jump into another relationship. Is it?
I found this to be a delightful story with loveable characters, but it was weak in the romance department. Everything happened so quickly the reader doesn’t get to see the couple together very much or the relationship develop. We’re just told that it did. They didn’t even kiss until the very end, and no emotions were described from that.
